We are a small independent Family History Group, centred in Tiryberth, South Wales. Our aim is to promote and encourage the study of Family History, Genealogy and Local History within the historic areas of Bedwellty, Mynyddislwyn, Gelligaer and Eglwysilan. To this end we endeavour to bring together like minded people who are interested in finding out who their ancestors were and what their lives may have been like. To these we offer help and support in tackling their own research into their family past. We do this by using the vast experience of existing members and through the equipment and research materials possessed by the Society.
